Microsoft hosted the 1st Education Summit in Kenya and Uganda this February. With the help of the Vice Chancellors Board in Uganda, the event brought together over 60 Business Development Manager’s (BDM’s) from different Universities across Uganda, the forum was the beginning of digital transformation in higher education in Uganda. The Kenya Higher Education then brought together over 125 BDM’s from various academic institutions across the country to address and unpack how best they digitally transform their institutions in the face of increasing global competition and financial constraints.
SIS Global were proud to be one of five Global Microsoft Education Partners invited to exhibit at this event. It was the perfect opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to the Higher Education sector and to share our portfolio of integrated solutions designed to optimise the entire student lifecycle from admissions to graduation, and demonstrate our understanding and expertise of business transformation within the higher education sector, locally and internationally.
• A fantastic turnout on the day, key influencers and exec’s considering their digital transformation journeys and considering ways in which they remain competitive in today’s highly contested market.
• Our customers are now ready to adopt cloud. The conversations have changed from, what can be done with cloud to, how do we start?
• How can SIS Global help? And why our solutions and expertise are so critical to enabling digital transformation?
• Our customers have been exposed to world class solutions that will enable them to compete on a global basis
Ian Bayley, Executive Head of Education for SIS Global said, “It was a privilege to be invited to share the stage with Claudia Johnson (Microsoft Enterprise Channel Manager – Education Sector Sub Saharan Africa) to discuss practically the Microsoft Higher Education Framework and the work that SIS Global has done in this area.”
