Webinar
May 13th 11:00AM PST/2:00PM EST
In these challenging times, school leaders have made the difficult decision to temporarily close for the health and safety of their students and staff. We recognise the challenges this presents and want to help make the transition to remote learning as smooth as possible.
Join this webinar to learn how to set up your school for remote learning with Microsoft Teams & Skooler. You will hear from O’Dea High School’s Director of Digital Strategy, David Olinger, as he shares how O’Dea made this transition seamlessly for teachers, students and parents.
The webinar will focus on:
- Streamline your infrastructure for remote learning
- Turn Office 365 into a complete platform for education with Microsoft Teams and Skooler
- Create tests and assessments in record time
- Plan, assign, use state standards along with formative and summative assessments
Remote learning can be fun…really!
As president Franklin D. Roosevelt said in his 1933 inaugural address, “We have nothing to fear but fear itself.” The idea of remote learning may be daunting, but it is easier than most people might expect. When asked about transitioning to a remote learning model, Jon Ohlsson, a high school teacher and ICT coordinator in Sweden who uses Skooler commented, “Remote Learning has been an adventure for our school. From initial scepticism and fear of technical troubles, our teachers now find it both fun and engaging. Instead of going ‘Why?’ and ‘How?’ we now give each other tips and share experiences.”
SIS Global helps schools to make the transition to virtual classrooms and remote learning simple and effective. We will work closely with school leaders, teachers and IT to plan and implement the right solution for your school, enabling smarter communication and the delivery of virtual classrooms, remote teaching and creating multiple pathways and collaboration opportunities between teacher and student.
